Ben Samples, Boy Meets Club and Cory O played a loud and engery filled show last night at Branx in good ol rainy PDX. It may have been stormy and shitty outside but that didnt stop the party inside, especially as Ben Samples took the stage! Ben attacked the crowd with energy and agility pounding out live remixes of heavy club rattling hip hop (dare you say glitch hop?) and raging synthetic bass. But this was only after openers Boy Meets Club prepared the dance floor with a thumping set of original remixes by the Boys themselves and yours truely, as well as some hits dug deep from the annals of electronic mayhem! We were even blessed with a rare special appearance by Half Man Half who came through to drop a verse during the set!
Thanks to Cory O I was able to get some good footage not only of Ben’s remixing but also of home town heros Boy Meets Club, Half Man Half and Cory! Thanks again Cory!!
